# Open a Gravity account

Confirm who you are, choose an account type, and complete the application.

## Eligibility

Gravity is available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents applying from
the United States.

## Account types

Individual — a standard taxable brokerage account.
Roth IRA — a retirement account funded with post-tax contributions.
Traditional IRA — a retirement account with tax-deferred contributions.

## Save and resume

Create login credentials before entering restricted application information.
Gravity securely saves each completed step so the application can be resumed
on a later authenticated visit.

## What happens next

The application is reviewed, including identity verification, before an
account opens. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval and does
not mean a carrying firm has opened or approved an account.

## Agent-prepared draft

A software agent may prepare selected account and investment-profile answers.
The handoff is editable, creates no account, and cannot submit the application.
Identity, disclosures, agreements, location evidence, and submission remain on
the authenticated Gravity website.
